Two spacecraft flew to Venus
During the flybys various scientific instruments were switched on and took measurements. These measurements, for the first time, give insight into the structure and activity in the far regions of the induced magnetotail of Venus. In this talk a magnetic view of the induced magnetotail will be given (supported by other instruments) and it will be shown that both missions measured quite different activity in the tail, caused by the trajectories that the spacecraft took and the solar wind conditions.
