Computers can predict which measures will most effectively tackle the various challenges of the pandemic, as physicists from the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the University of Vienna now show in a publication in the journal PLOS ONE.

    Finds of this kind are extremely rare: in St. Catherine's Monastery in Sinai, a researcher from the Austrian Academy of Sciences has discovered a previously unknown text from Homer's time. Only fragments on two sheets have survived, but a poetic text can be reconstructed from them, telling of the childhood of the god Dionysus.
