Young IMBA Scientist Wins FameLab 2009 Competition

The 27-year old biologist Lucia Aronica from the IMBA Kazufumi Mochizuki lab won the FameLab scientific communication talent competition on 4th of April. With her brief, exciting, 3-minute presentation on RNAi interference the native Italian took both the jury prize and audience award.

As FameLab winner, Lucia Aronica will now represent Austria at the Cheltenham Science Festival in England from 3rd to 7th of June,  where young researchers from 10 countries will compete to present their personal research topics as clearly, convincingly and entertainingly as possible.
