Himara's cemetery is located near the settlement of Himara, a town on the southwestern coast of Albania. It is located on the river bed of one of the streams of Korrami River, east of the historic center of Himara. The cemetery was not known before, because it was covered by large deposits of alluviums brought by the mountain streams. For the documentation of graves ans the rescue of archaeological information, a campaign was conducted firstly in June 2018 and a second campaign in August 2020. From these archeological excavations two tumuli were documented, which from a preliminary evaluation seem to have been used in the end of the Bronze Age and the beginning of the Iron Age.
