SY-Stem - a symposium focusing on the next generation of stem cell researchers – is the kick-off event for a series of annual conferences located in the beautiful city of Vienna. It is organized jointly by the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) and Institute of Molecular Biotechnology (IMBA).
In this two-and-a-half-day event, recognized keynote speakers, as well as aspiring young group leaders will discuss the latest advances in stem cell biology. Our goal is to create a cooperative and dynamic spirit in this research area.
The sessions include the following topics:
Pluripotency, differentiation & reprogramming | Adult stem cells & model organisms | Organoids & bioengineering | Key technologies & emerging methods | Clinical outlooks |
The Symposium is organized together with the Austrian Society for Stem Cell Research (asscr.at) and set in an informal and collaborative environment at the IMBA and the IMP in Vienna.
We especially invite young scientists to participate in this symposium, to connect with and shape the future of the stem cell community in Europe.
