If you receive emails from travel agents, claiming to be involved in booking your accommodation for the conference, please note that we are not cooperating with any company regarding hotel bookings or travel arrangements.

Public Transportation
Tram 71: Direction “Börse” takes you to the city center in 10 to 15min and goes along the “Ring” (passing the main university building, city hall, Burgtheater, parliament, state opera). To get to the venue, take direction "Zentralfriedhof" and get off at station St. Marx.
Tram 18: Direction “Schlachthausgasse” leads you to the nearest U-Bahn (subway, U3) station called “Schlachthausgasse”. Taking direction “Burggasse / Stadthalle” leads you to Vienna's central station (10 minute's ride).
S-Bahn 7: Connects St. Marx with the airport (direction “Wolfsthal”). Trains are departing every 30 min and it takes around 30 minutes to get to the airport.

Traveling to Vienna
| By plane: The International Airport Schwechat (VIE) is just outside of Vienna. It serves most European Cities and has also several daily flights to America and Asia. A direct S-Bahn (S7) connects the airport to the Vienna Biocenter (station: St. Marx - 25min ride) for just Euro 4.20 (tickets are available directly at the train station). An alternative airport is the Bratislava Airport (BTS) which is served by several much cheaper airlines. From there, a bus connects to Vienna (approximately 1 hour ride). |
