Biography

Julien Segarra is an artist, art mediator and independent researcher. He is Alumni of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and works with stencil duplicators since 2019. He is the co-founder of the printing studio Obsolet , specialised in Mimeography, Risography and Silkscreen. He works at the intersection of art, printing techniques, performance, and political theory. Since 2024 he is art mediator at the Kinder Kunst Labor in St. Pölten. At the Institute of Urban and Regional Studies he is artist-researcher in the FWF Project Ma(r)king Neighborhoods. Integrating art in urban research.
