    Preliminary analyses of the new survey data from the Worlds of Journalism study show that economic journalists can be divided into two groups in terms of their self-image: one group sees itself in the tradition of the ‘ideal of objectivity’, while the other is concerned with transparent, interpretative journalism.

    Shortly before the end of the first project year, the DIACOMET team met for a consortium meeting at the invitation of the Hungarian Europe Society in Budapest (Hungary). The Institute for Comparative Media and Communication Studies (CMC) was represented at the workshop by four staff members.
