The series »Tituli Asiae Minoris«, edited by the research group »Epigraphy« at the Department of Classical Studies, was established with the founding of the »Kommission für archäologische Erforschung Kleinasiens« (Commission for Archaeological Research in Asia Minor) in 1890. Its aim is to publish all Greek and Latin inscriptions of Asia Minor in the form of corpora ordered by landscape; it is thus the counterpart to the »Inscriptiones Graecae« published at the Berlin Academy. In addition to the texts of the inscriptions with the underlying documentation, the corpora also contain translations and commentaries. At present, the inscriptions of Ephesos as well as the inscriptions of Lycia, Bithynia and the Kibyratis form a focal point.
