Among the many works of rNgog lo tsa ba Blo ldan shes rab (1059–1109), a special place is taken by his commentary on Dharmakīrti's Pramāṇaviniścaya. Thereby a new phase of interpreting Dharmakīrti's works was initiated in Tibet. rNgog lo's biography, written by his pupil Gro lung pa, is extant in rare blockprints and one manuscript from the national library of Bhutan. An edition of this text will provide an important source for this key figure of the Dharmakīrti reception in Tibet.
