Due to the ongoing international impact of the academic work of Erich Frauwallner (1898–1974) and because his connection to National Socialism and the ideological elements in his periodization of the development of Indian philosophy have not been closely studied and described as of yet, Dr. Jakob Stuchlik has written a well-rounded personal history of Frauwallner in the years from 1932 to 1945 as well as a critical analysis of the "Aryan approach" as an interpretational concept of periodization.
