Research Interests

I am an experimental astronomer interested in ground- and space-based astronomical instrumentation. My research has largely focused on the development of instruments for spectroscopic observations in the ultraviolet from high altitude balloons and small satellites. I am also interested in the characterisation of exoplanet atmospheres. At the Space Research Institute, I am involved in the CUTE mission for which I lead the development of the data simulator and of the data reduction pipeline.
