• Incoming Fellowship
  The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW) offers international incoming fellowships in order to allow excellent researchers from all over the world to come to Austria. Outstanding researchers wishing to apply for a Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Fellowship, an ERC Starting or ERC Consolidator Grant are invited for a short term visit to the OeAW, to experience the unique working environment of the OeAW and to avail of the support provided by the Academy.

• Marie Skłodowska Curie Individual Postdoctoral Fellowships
  The objective of PFs is to support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research. The Postdoctoral Fellowships action targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new skills and develop their careers. PFs help researchers gain experience in other countries, disciplines and non-academic sectors.

• ESPRIT Programme
  The ESPRIT program (Early-Stage Program: Research - Innovation - Training) is intended to improve the skills and support the professional development of researchers from all disciplines early in their research careers by giving them the opportunity to lead an independent research project.

• ERC Starting Grant
  Are you a talented early-career scientist who has already produced excellent supervised work, is ready to work independently and shows potential to be a research leader? The ERC Starting Grant could be for you.

• JESH (Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities) Programme
  The Austrian Academy of Sciences’ Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities (JESH) programme promotes cooperation between excellent young researchers from abroad and scholars in Austria. JESH offers an incoming programme for researchers from 61 different target countries as well as an outgoing programme for Austrian researchers.
