Exoplanet Characterisation and Evolution

An artist's rendering of the exoplanet HD 189733b as a striped, bluish-orange gas giant in space. In the upper left, its very nearby, bright yellow host star shines, its intense light illuminating the planet's atmosphere.

Planet-Forming Disks and Astrochemistry

An artist's rendering of planetary formation, featuring a massive, rotating disk of dust and gas surrounding a young star. In the foreground, celestial bodies, asteroid collisions, and passing comets can be seen.
