Science communication is responsible for the OeAI's external communication about the knowledge generated at the Institute and the research methods and processes used. Various traditional and digital communication channels are utilised.
Press releases about monographs or articles in journals
- Some selected publications are disseminated to great effect via press releases. Realisation depends on the time and deadline resources of the unit Science Communication. If one of your papers is accepted in a peer-reviewed journal, please provide the science communicator with the relevant information at the time of acceptance so that the optimal communication strategy can be planned in good time. The same applies if a publication date has been set for a monograph or an edited volume.
- A prerequisite for a press release are good, high-resolution photos and, ideally, videos on the topic.
- Press releases are always prepared and edited in consultation with the respective researcher.
- Please note that the OeAI will also need to liaise with the OeAW PR department. That can result in longer lead times.
