Biographical sketch

Studies of Pre- and Protohistory at the Universities of Vienna and Tübingen. 2013 Master's degree and 2019 PhD degree with »magna cum laude« in joint doctoral programme at the Universities of Tübingen and Paris Nanterre. 2019 researcher at the University of Geneva. From 2020 to 2021 short employment at the ÖAI. From 2021 to 2022 postdoctoral fellow at Leiden University. Since October 2022 postdoctoral fellow at the ÖAI. Active teaching at the Universities of Tübingen and Vienna.

    • Gain in knowledge about human evolution in the Pleistocene in a wide-ranging context
    • Excavations and research of Palaeolithic and Mesolithic as well as Middle and Later Stone Age sites
    • Population dynamics, knowledge transfer and interconnectedness of prehistoric societies
    • Development of technological systems of hunters and gatherers
    • Analysing of finds from old collections
