Current Research

Despite all efforts, hearing-aid users still struggle with speech understanding in complex environments. In these situations, binaural cues provide large advantages for normal-hearing listeners and there are indications that hearing-impaired listeners may also benefit. In my current project, I aim to develop real-world speech tests that provide a thorough scientific understanding of the size and range of binaural benefit and investigate how binaural cues are impacted by hearing aids.
