Academic Background

I have worked in animal care positions since my twenties. I began caring for baby cows at a dairy farm and later trained as a professional dog groomer. For nine years, I had my own mobile dog grooming business before completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in the UK.

After moving to Austria, I joined the Goffin Lab at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna, first as a volunteer and later as a lab assistant. My responsibilities expanded to include work as an assistant technician and assistant animal keeper, as well as caring for and hand-rearing Goffin's cockatoos.

I now bring this broad animal-care experience to the acoustics lab, where I help care for the institute's budgerigars.
