Short description:
To better understand how people perceive and process music, and the role social interaction plays in this process, we invite you to take part in a study at the Acoustics Research Institute. You will be asked to imitate sequences of sounds together with another person.
Who can participate?
Adults aged 18 or older with normal hearing.
Duration and location:
The study takes place in the sound laboratory at the Acoustics Research Institute, entrance at Wiesingerstraße 4, 3rd floor, 1010 Vienna. It lasts approximately 20–30 minutes.

Short description:
We are conducting a study on pitch and duration perception and would be delighted if you participated!
Who can participate?
Native speakers of German and Serbian (BCS speakers welcome) aged 18 and above.
Duration and location:
The study will take place in the laboratory of the Acoustics Research Institute (1010 Vienna).
Duration: 60 to 90 minutes. You will receive 10 Euros per hour as compensation.

What meaning does singing convey? And why do we sing in the first place? To better understand these questions, we invite you to take part in our online study on the perception of sung music. During the study, you will listen to short sound samples and evaluate what you hear.
