On the 13th and 14th November 2025 TransHerit's advisory board composed of Maria Gravari-Barbas, Eirest Paris 1-Sorbonne University; Walter Matznetter, former professor at the Department of Geography and Regional Research, University of Vienna and Manuel Aalbers, KU Leuven, joined the team from the Institute for Urban and Regional Research for the project's mid-term meeting at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The agenda for the two-day event included presentations on policy and data analysis (ISR), media analysis (Konrad Bleyer-Simon), ordinary heritage (ISR) and heritage communities (Hanna Szemzö). Exchanges and discussions on building trajectories, categorisation of developers and other actors, as well as on financialisation and commodification of the historic housing stock were fruitfuls and insightful. The mid-term meeting ended with an interactive tour around a section of the 10th district of Vienna organised by the team at ISR.
