After a successful series of Living Labs in Vienna, we’re bringing the experience to Budapest—and you're invited!
A Living Lab is an open, inclusive space where researchers and residents come together. It’s about listening, learning, and co-creating knowledge. We believe that the best insights into urban life come from those who experience it every day—you! At our small festival booth, you can learn about our ongoing work on historic housing urban transformation and discover how your everyday experiences can help shape future cities.
Tell us about your neighbourhood and the house you live in! What makes it special? What has changed? What places do you love? Your insights will feed directly into our research.
Bring the kids! We’ve prepared a fun and interactive activity especially for children. It’s all about discovery and creativity.
Exchange ideas and experiences! Whether you're passionate about your local park or historic house, or just curious—stop by and talk to us. We’re happy to discuss the history and stories of your neighbourhood.
We’ll be popping up at various places throughout the summer. Come by, bring your curiosity, and join the conversation.

As part of the TransHerit research project, we are looking for people who would like to take part in a survey and/or focus group in October 2025 on the topic of ‘How is living in the historic city changing? What influences do the actors on the property market have, how are the houses, the neighbourhoods and their residents changing?’ Would you like to take part? You are welcome to register with us in person or online.
