EPSC brings together top European research
The Europlanet Science Congress (EPSC) is the premier forum for European planetary science. As a leading platform, the congress covers the entire spectrum of the field, from planetary formation and the exploration of celestial and small bodies in our solar system (such as Mercury, Jupiter, asteroids, and comets) to distant exoplanets beyond it.
Graz as a hotspot for space research
The IWF will act as the local host and an active scientific participant for the EPSC. The successful bid was supported by Joanneum Research, Messe Graz, and Graz Tourism. The venue will be Messe Graz, where around 1,500 national and international participants are expected.
In addition to the scientific congress, the IWF will design and coordinate an accompanying public exhibition on its core space-based themes and expertise. This exhibition will showcase current and future ESA missions involving the IWF, making the significant contributions of Austrian research tangible for the general public.
