Vortrag: Erwin Kreyszig 2.0: Replication of a measurement from the statistics book of the mathematician

In 1963 the mathematician Erwin Kreyszig did a traffic measurement, subsequently published - together with a lot of different examples - in his famous statistics book (1st edition 1965). We repeated this measurements exactly 50 years later (same location, same time, same day of the week) and compare the two results. In addition we give a short biography of Prof. Kreyszig and discuss applications in transportation and telecommunication networks (extendable to space).
