The Carl Zeiss GmbH released the new Crossbeam LaserFIB in early 2020. The pioneering work regarding the combination of a femtosecond laser and a FIB at the Erich Schmid Institute paved the way for the development of this system.
In a recent Wiley webinar entitled “The new LaserFIB and Its Applications” Dr. Manuel Pfeifenberger and Dr. Fabián Pérez-Willard, Solutions Manager at Zeiss, introduced the LaserFIB technology and its workflow alongside with multiple examples of application.
