Workshop on magnetic materials

From the 21st to the 22nd of May 2025, the international workshop on ‘Permanent magnet materials in the making’ took place at the Erich Schmid Institute in Leoben, Austria.

The workshop, who was organized by Erika Faigen and Andrea Bachmaier, brought together material scientists working on permanent magnet materials across Europe to encourage an exchange on state-of-the-art developments and to apply a novel card based method.
This workshop was funded by the European Union Horizon2020 research and innovation programme (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions 101026044, GLoRI). Further funding was contributed by the Wolfgang Pauli Institute, Vienna.
