The developed high-performance aluminum composite is designed for fatigue-critical applications in sectors such as aerospace and hydrogen systems.
The project combines advanced powder metallurgy, architectured Aluminum matrix composites (AMCs), and integrated bulk/surface fatigue enhancement strategies to enable safer and longer-lasting lightweight structures for future applications.
