
Biographie
Robert Steele ist Postdoktorand am Institut für Iranistik und arbeitet an der Kultur- und Geistesgeschichte des modernen Irans, mit Schwerpunkt auf der Zeit der Pahlavi-Dynastie. Er hat einen Doktortitel in arabischen und islamischen Studien von der University of Exeter und einen MPhil in Nahoststudien von der University of Manchester. Von 2021 bis 2022 war er Gastwissenschaftler am Department of International History der London School of Economics, und von 2019 bis 2021 war er der erste Jahangir and Eleanor Amuzegar Postdoctoral Fellow in Modern Iranian History am Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures der University of California, Los Angeles.
