With over 50 completed research projects on various issues of European and international tort law, the Institute for European Tort Law has acquired rich experience in comparative legal reseach. Focusing on fundamental issues of the law of torts and neighboring legal categories, our scientific staff has been working in conjunction with over 500 academics and specialists from 48 countries around the world. The contributors on all our projects are leading experts in the particular field of research (see Network). The Institute for European Tort Law adopts a time-honoured methodology when conducting research into various topics.
