Biography
Born 1974 in Bad Radkersburg / Steiermark
Studies of history and education sciences at Graz University. Doctoral Fellowship Program at the Austrian Academy of Sciences (2000-2002). Center for Jewish History Fellowship in New York (2002-2003). Staff member of the Leo Baeck Institute in New York. 2005 PhD graduation at the University of Graz. Since 2007 researcher at the Institute for Culture Studies at the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Lecturer at the University of Klagenfurt (2009) and at the University of Graz (2011). APART post-doc scholarship (2012-2015). Fellowship at the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM), April-September 2013. Since 2017 Elise Richter fellowship with a habilitation project on “Everyday life and persecution of women and men of “half-Jewish” descent in Vienna, 1938-1945”.
