Biography

Born in 1970, B.A. and M.A. in History and Classical Archaeology at the University of Vienna. PhD at the department of contemporary history, University of Vienna, 2003. Collaborator of the Historical Commission of the Republic of Austria, 1999-2001. Oral history project "Mutterland-Vatersprache" with Shoah survivors from Austria in Israel, 2002-2005. Post-doc fellow at the Rosenfeld Center (Hebrew University), 2003-2004. Collaborator of the Wien Museum (Vienna) for provenance research, 2004. Since 2005 collaborator of the Austrian commission for provenance research. In the period 2007-2019 and 2020 staff member of the Institute of Culture Studies (Austrian Academy of Sciences) and from 2020 to 2022 member of the associated staff.
