NaMu – The Nature of Music

The international student conference NaMu – The Nature of Music will take place in Vienna from December 10–12, 2025

The conference brings together early-career researchers from nine European countries to explore interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspectives on music as a human universal. The program includes talks, poster sessions, and keynote lectures in fields such as music psychology, philosophy of music, biomusicology, modeling, and acoustics.

Internal networking sessions, lab tours, and a concert on December 11, 2025 (5:00 PM) at the Austrian Academy of Sciences complement the academic program.
