Pippins Königreich, die Karolinger und Italien (781 – 810)

This the second of two workshop on king Pippin of Italy, jointly organized by the University of Trento and the IMAFO of Vienna. King Pippin, Charlemagne’s son, was perhaps the most powerful and influential sovereign to reign Italy since the time of Theodoric the Great. He is also one of the most striking among the 'neglected Carolingians.' Following the previous workshop in Trento, the Vienna meeting hopes to cast some light on Pippin and his days.
