About The Project

More and more tenants have to cope with rising housing and living costs (including rent, utilities and energy costs) because incomes are not rising at the same rate. Particularly in urban areas, these current trends are challenging the affordability of housing and living for many people. This puts tenants under enormous pressure. Moreover, the few affordable housing options often limit the alternatives available to tenants. As a result, these economic developments are not only a financial burden, but have a far-reaching impact on the entire lives of tenants.

At a time when affordable housing is becoming a key social challenge, we invite you to contribute your perspective.
You will receive an compensation of 50 euros in the form of shopping vouchers for your participation.

Objective

The main objective of the project "Affordable Housing and Living in Vienna?" is to document the far-reaching consequences of rising housing and living costs for tenants in Vienna. The project focuses on the experiences of people living in the free rental market segment. Based on this, we want to derive policy recommendations.

Why should you participate?

Your participation is invaluable in helping us to gain new insights into this important issue, raise awareness and better assess its impact on society. We provide a platform for people whose voices are rarely heard to share their stories and experiences and act as role models for others. By participating in the project, they also have an implicit voice in policy making. We also offer 50 euros as in the form of shopping vouchers.
