Sounds from All Sides: Phonetics and Its Subfields as a Transdisciplinary Area of Interest
The workshop is open to anyone engaged with the sound structure of language - whether from a theoretical, empirical, methodological, or applied perspective.
Phonetics, as a discipline and research area, not only connects several different academic fields but, due to its requirements for data collection and analysis, also offers a wide range of applications for empirical research methods.
Therefore, the goal of this workshop is to provide a platform for discussing theoretical, empirical, methodological, and technological questions in the field of phonetics, where philological, linguistic, and speech technology perspectives facilitate an inter- and transdisciplinary exchange. Contributions from both early-career researchers and experienced researchers are welcome.
