Otmar Scherzer received in 2024 the EAIP Life time Award and became a SIAM member in 2025. Otmar Scherzer has been Editor in Chief of the Journal Inverse Problems from 2020-2025.
The article ”A Deep Learning Approach to Diabetic Blood Glucose Prediction” by Hrushikesh Mhaskar, Sergei Pereverzyev and Maria Dorothea Van Der Walt has been awarded as ”Outstanding Article 2021” published in ”Frontiers in Applied Mathematics and Statistics”.
Bochra Mejri won the IMA poster competition for the 4th Institute of Mathematics and its Applications conference, titled “Inverse Problems: From Theory to Application,” held on 11th-13th September 2024 in Bath.
Xinlin Cao (PostDoc at RICAM in 2020–2023), currently Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, was recently awarded the Hong Kong SIAM prize for young scholars.
Mourad Sini was a plenary speaker in the “Applied Inverse Problems” (AIP) conference in Grenoble, France, and selected for the IAAM Award Lecture (by the International Association of Advanced Materials) in Sweden.
