Austria's Long Night of Research will take place again on May 24. The OeAI will be presenting its research with the station »Bread, beer and bananas: What did our ancestors eat and drink?« in the Otto Wagner Postsparkasse in Vienna.
On a journey through the history of mankind, you will learn more about the kind of food people ate in the Stone Age, how Egyptians fed the dead and how exquisitely the Romans dined in present-day Austria. We also solve the mystery of whether bananas were really known at that time.
