Over the last 10,000 years, vegetation cover in Brandenburg has undergone constant change in line with changes in the natural environment, but also due to human influence. The food plants consumed by humans also changed as a result of climatic changes, but above all due to migration. For several decades, research has been conducted on this change in the federal state of Brandenburg in northeastern Germany as part of archaeological conservation work on the environment and nutrition. The exhibition presents the environment and nutrition of hunter-gatherer groups in the Rhinluch to the table of King Frederick II of Prussia.
