Take part in the 28^th EAA Annual Meeting in Budapest  (31 August – 3 September 2022) and present your research on Roman wall paintings or on painted wall decoration from the Hellenistic through the Carolingian/early Islamic time periods (ca. 300 BCE to 800 CE) in the area of the Roman Empire. 

Contribute to the interdisciplinary dialogue between archaeologists, natural scientists, conservators, and curators to address the challenges of collection management and those related to the analysis of archaeological materials.

The session is organized by the University of Applied Arts, the University of Vienna, the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Dresden University of Fine Arts. We hope to see you in Budapest!
