The use of nanomaterials in cosmetics, paint or other consumer articles is already wide spread. But which measures have to be taken to make products save, not just for humans but also for the environment?
Experts from the fields of toxicology, risk management or the media discussed these questions throughout the one day conference in Vienna. There was general agreement about a need for more information about the effects of nanoparticles and nanotechnologies.
