The complex transformation of the cultural landscape during Greek and Roman antiquity is the focal point of the Transformation of Settlements Workgroup. A focal point of their research examines the anthropogenically proven changes of settlements and landscapes.
A new perspective regarding the population in terms of settlement and trade and other diverse functions will be possible through the analysis of urban and rural settlements in terms of the floorplans and vertical elevations of their structures.
