Zweiter Workshop der Kommission für interdisziplinäre Schubert Forschung | Second Workshop of the Schubert Research Center
The members of the interdisciplinary Schubert Research Center at the Austrian Academy of Sciences are eager to make contacts with young scholars in the field. They are invited to a workshop, which will take place this year in Vienna on February 22 and 23, 2024.
The event is open to all graduate students whose dissertations deal with aspects of the cultural history of Vienna in the Vormärz period and would like to report on their work to international colleagues. You are also welcome if you have recently completed a dissertation in this field. The commission will cover travel expenses and accommodation. The working language is English.
Erster Workshop der Kommission für interdisziplinäre Schubertforschung | First Workshop of the Schubert Research Center
In order to maintain contact with the next generation of Schubert researchers, the Center intends to organise a workshop for international doctoral candidates every second year. The young researchers should not only exchange ideas among themselves, but also establish contacts with more senior colleagues in Schubert research and get to know Vienna as Schubert's place of activity.
The 1st workshop, which was scheduled for 10/11 December 2021, will be rescheduled for 22/23 March 2022.
