Research Projects

Proteostasis in neural stem cell maintenance and differentiation: Investigating how proteostasis mechanisms contribute to the regulation and differentiation of neural stem cells, with an emphasis on molecular switches and pathways influencing these processes.

New roles of the proteasome in preventing neurodegeneration: Focused on identifying mechanisms of proteostasis regulation during aging and neurodegeneration.

Research interests

My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of proteostasis regulation and their implications for cellular health and disease. I have a particular interest in exploring the roles of E3 ligases and the 26S proteasome in regulating key cellular processes. My work also investigates proteostasis regulation in neural stem cell maintenance and differentiation, aiming to uncover molecular switches under physiological and stress conditions.
