The SAB offers independent advice and assessment

Research at the GMI is evaluated annually by our Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). The SAB consists of independent international experts whose primary role is to provide the institute's management and the Austrian Academy of Sciences with feedback on the quality of the science conducted at the GMI. The SAB meets over a three-day period in late Fall for in-depth discussions with all research groups, as well as representatives of postdocs, PhD students, and technical staff.
