This is the eleventh lecture in the lecture series Religious Philosophy in Pre-Modern Eurasia: Questions of Translatability organized within the framework of the Cluster of Excellence Eurasian Transformations: Resources of the Past and Challenges of Diversity by the Institute for the Cultural and Intellectual History of Asia at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and the Center for Religious Studies at Central European University.
Manea Erna Shirinian, Professor, Dr. Hist., is the Head of the Department for the Study of the Armenian Texts of the 5th-14th Centuries at the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts - Mashtots' Matenadaran; and the President of National Committee of Byzantine Studies in Armenia. She is also a member of few scientific and editorial committees, and academic councils. She is the author of more than 240 publications.
