ESQ PostDoc Marco Qunitino and his colleague and collaborators published their latest findings in Quantum

Marco Túlio Quintino, togehter with his colleagues at IQOQI Vienna and his collaborators at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (Brazil), Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (Canada), Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Brazil), Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) analyze the minimum requirements for a quantum process to fail to admit a CCDC explanation.

30.09.2021

In this work, they analyze the minimum requirements for a quantum process to fail to admit a CCDC explanation and present "simple" processes, which we prove to be the most robust ones against general noise.

Finally, they explore the equivalence between bipartite direct-cause processes and bipartite processes without quantum memory, to present a separable process which cannot be realized as a process without quantum memory.
