ESQ Faculty members Philip Walther and Caslav Brukner, ESQ PostDoc Mateus Araújo, their colleagues, together with their collaborator from the University of Queensland, Australia, present the first demonstration of indefinite temporal order outside of quantum formalism.

The researchers from Vienna and Queensland present the first demonstration of indefinite temporal order outside of quantum formalism. They show that their experimental outcomes are incompatible with a class of generalised probabilistic theories satisfying the assumptions of locality and definite temporal order.
