3rd Graz-Vienna Speech Workshop: Connecting with Health Sciences

The 3rd Graz-Vienna Speech Workshop will be held from April 23–25, 2025, at the General Hospital of Vienna (AKH). Hosted by the Medical University of Vienna and co-organized by researchers from the Acoustics Research Institute (OeAW) and TU Graz, the workshop continues its tradition of fostering interdisciplinary exchange in speech science and technology, with a special focus on applications in health sciences.

This year’s workshop will feature oral plenary talks and practical sessions to facilitate discussions, showcase new methods, and explore innovative interdisciplinary approaches. Topics of interest include speech communication sciences, AI-driven methods, phonetics, linguistics, speech-language pathology, psychology, imaging, and digital health.

A limited number of spaces remain available for non-presenting participants. Interested individuals should register by emailing  philipp.aichinger(at)meduniwien.ac.at.

Participation is free, but attendees must cover personal expenses such as travel, accommodation, and meals.
