“Linguistic Distances and Similarities of Old and Middle Indo-Aryan Varieties – The Application of Dialectometric and Quantitative Approaches to Historical Languages”

The material I am dealing with ranges from epigraphic material to texts which were initially transmitted orally and written down at a later point in time to originally written material. At the moment, I am primarily working with editions and publications of these texts but I am also interested in furthering my knowledge of working with primary sources directly. I hope that my affiliation with the Cluster of Excellence could lead to cooperations that will give me guidance and support.
