Buddhist Hymns : A New Collection

Aufgrund einer neuentdeckten Sanskrit-Handschrift aus Tibet enthält das Buch neue Ausgaben von Candragomins Jambhalastotra und Deśanāstava, Harṣas Suprabhātastava, Varāhasvāmins Devātiśayastotra, Rādhasvāmins Viśeṣastava, sowie ein Fragment von Mātṛceṭa's Prasādapratibhodbhava. Das Buch enthält ferner eine Einführung in das Manuskript und seine Paläographie. Die Sanskrit-Texte des Jambhalastotra, des Deśanāstava und des Viśeṣastava werden in diesem Band zum ersten Mal herausgegeben.

Based on a newly discovered Sanskrit manuscript from Tibet, the book contains new editions of Candragomins's Jambhalastotra and Deśanāstava, Harṣa's Suprabhātastava, Varāhasvāmin's Devātiśayastotra, Rādhasvāmin's Viśeṣastava, and also a fragment of Mātṛceṭa's Prasādapratibhodbhava. The book also contains an introduction to the manuscript and its palaeography. In this volume the Sanskrit texts of Jambhalastotra, Deśanāstava and Viśeṣastava are presented for the first time.
