Studies in Oriental Languages and General Linguistics at the University of Vienna (M.A. with distinction), doctoral studies in General Linguistics at the University of Vienna (Ph.D. with distinction). From 2002 to 2004 member of the Austrian Science Fund Project Documentation of Oral Traditions in Spiti and Upper Kinnaur (P15046); scientific staff member at the Phonogrammarchiv, Austrian Academy of Sciences. Since 2018 Associated Member of the FWF Special Research Programme (SFB) „Deutsch in Österreich. Variation – Kontakt – Perzeption“(F 60).
Contact person for linguistics: local languages in Kinnaur, West Himalayish languages, field linguistics, linguistic field methods and consulting of field researchers, organization of linguistic field data and archiving of audio-visual documentation.
